Stocks are again surging today and it now appears the bear market is
over. We can all rest assured that by the end of the year we will look
back at today and, in confidence, state to ourselves that this was a
marvelous time to buy...

A one day surge does not mean that the stock market is out of the
woods. The current drawdown has been in progress since Jan 2008.
Even if the stock market were to be at higher levels at the end of the
year, it would still have to go through the paces of forming the price/
volume structure to enable its occurance. To enable this to occur
there may still be some more pain left in the system. And let's not
forget the commodities market and crude oil and sub-prime. These
factors would continue to have a bearing on the money flow to the
stock markets across the globe.
